Lo spazio del parlamento moderno occupa un ruolo centrale nelle relazioni politiche e giuridiche tra gli attori sociali. Questo contributo si concentra sull’aula di Montecitorio come oggetto di un’analisi semiotica e narrativa. In particolare, ci si domanda come l’organizzazione spaziale e visiva interagisca con i ruoli dei soggetti istituzionali ‘sulla scena’, e a quali condizioni l’aula possa venire accostata al teatro. A tal fine si premette una nota sui rapporti tra spazio, diritto e teoria della narratività. Segue un’analisi morfologica dell’aula, considerando prima l’organizzazione normativa dello spazio per le relazioni istituzionali, e in seguito la relazione tra le rappresentazioni mediali attuali e le forme spaziali dell’aula.
Abstract
In modern times, the space of Parliament arises to a pivotal role in political and juridical relationships between social actors. We focus particoularly on the italian Montecitorio hall as a matter of analysis from a semiotic and narrative point of view, trying to understand how spatial and visual organization interacts with the institutional roles of the subjects ‘on the stage’. Under these conditions, we assume that it is possible to compare the parliamentary hall to a theatre. To this effect, we first advance a sketch of the relationships through space, law and narrative theory. After, we introduce a morphological analysis of the hall, first asking how the space organize normativity for institutional relationships, an then how the current representations of mass media deal with the shape of the hall.
